Inquiry Part 1: Engaging Students in Deeper Levels of Thinking

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
This session lays a foundation for understanding inquiry and introduces strategies to help faculty/instructors and staff use questioning and deeper levels of thinking to engage students in their course material, encouraging students to think for themselves instead of asking for the “right answer.” The goal of this session is student ownership of the learning process and a better understanding of concepts. Arthur Costa’s Levels of Thinking is the research basis for this session. Appropriate for all faculty/instructors and staff in both academic courses and student services (e.g., First-Year Seminar).

Please complete the attached pre-work before the session
